This is an exciting opportunity to join the Network Support Team. We are the fastest growing directed spend network. We continue to expand our partnership with retailers and see tremendous growth. This position will support our independent retailers. These small businesses are a staple in neighborhoods in big cities like New York. These neighborhood retailers are important to ensure that our customers have locations to shop that are easily accessible to them.
Optum Business Analysts understand business problems and recommend solutions which align with organizational goals. They will play a solid role throughout the Development Lifecycle that includes gathering and documenting business requirements, creating use case scenarios, modeling business process, and participating in the overall planning that will ensure the system delivered meets the needs of the business.

Primary Responsibilities
- Direct and prioritize work based on roadmap initiatives, business need, etc.
- Work collaboratively across departments to enhance and document retail operations processes to improve the retailer and member experience
- Day-to-day support of our independent retailer network
- Manage issues and inquiries through the independent retail support queue
- Support on-boarding and training of independent retailers
- Lead implementations of new business processes and system features/functionalities
- Gather and track data related to day-to-day performance and communicate opportunities for improvement
- Investigate issues and monitor process adherence, identifying root cause and tracking short- and long-term countermeasures
- Educate team members on system tools and processes
- Perform data analysis, identifies trends, performance gaps, and process improvement opportunities
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
- 2+ years SQL experience
- 2+ years of experience in a BA or Operations role
- 1+ years of experience in Healthcare or Financial Services or Retail Management
- 1+ years account management or category management
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Suite
- Proven solid written communication skills
- Proven solid analytical skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Proven ability to self-motivate and work collaboratively with a team
- Proven ability to conduct an analysis of a business need, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, and conferring cross-functionally

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
