Compensation, Work Hours, Location:
* $17.20/hr.
* Flexible day time hours
* Onsite at Maxor offices in downtown Amarillo
Education: High School Graduation required. Must be enrolled in a Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering program.
Experience: Ideal candidate possesses a strong customer focus, with a basic knowledge of software applications and aptitude for/desire to learn computer maintenance/repair.
You may perform all or some of the following IT functions
- Set up PC’s, laptops, other equipment for new employees
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve hardware and associated software applications and communications problems with computer systems
- Perform hardware repairs and maintenance on a wide range of PC-based computers and peripherals
- Troubleshoot Local issues with equipment like printers, computers, and other hardware issues
- Assist in multiple audits: Quarterly system access, software, licensing
- Assist in packing and shipping out equipment
- Receive shipments – unpack, document, communicate
- Return equipment – unpack, document, communicate, and follow procedure of backing up, cleaning, etc.
- Inventory – organizing, putting away, and managing stock
- Office organization – keeping lab and general areas clean and organized
- Prepare Equipment – imaging, backing up, testing, and calling Vendor support
