As an intern at Berry Global in the Consumer Packaging North America Division, you will participate in our Summer 2025 Leadership Series where you will have the opportunity to meet and learn from business leaders from across the organization. Additionally, you will participate in networking events, a volunteer activity serving the greater Evansville community, and work on meaningful projects during your time at Berry.

The Consumer Packaging North America Division has an immediate need for a Design & Additive Manufacturing Engineering Intern. This role will assist our Corporate Additive Manufacturing (AM) team to deliver on a division wide AM strategy to support Berry Global’s North American manufacturing sites.
This position requires in-person attendance at our Evansville, IN location. Ideal candidates will reside in the tri-state area and be able to commute daily.
Responsibilities
- Use of SolidWorks 3D CAD software for part modeling and technical drawings.
- Reverse engineering of MRO components to support manufacturing efficiencies.
- Improvement of reverse engineered MRO part designs.
- Accurately measure parts using various types of digital devices such as calipers and micrometers.
- Troubleshoot and brainstorm with cross functional teams across multiple manufacturing sites to deliver MRO solutions that yield cost savings and improved manufacturing efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering or Product Design/Development related field
- SolidWorks or related 3D CAD experience
- High mechanical aptitude and problem solving abilities
- Knowledge of 3D printing technologies
- Collaborative driven team player with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
- Confident and articulate speaking skills
- Good listening and note taking skills
- Strong organizational skills
