As an Actuarial Analyst, you will be empowered, supported, and encouraged to develop your skills as part of a healthcare economics analytics team. You’ll also find an actuarial study program to support you in your continuing post-graduate education and certification.
Primary Responsibilities
- Leverage detailed datasets to produce cadenced medical expense trend reporting and analyses
- Support studies and analyses of emerging healthcare utilization and cost patterns
- Support studies to evaluate historical and projected financial performance of risk-bearing entities

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- On the actuarial exam track, having passed 1+ actuarial exams
- Expertise in MS Excel working with formulas, calculations, charts, graphs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in finance or health care industry
- Experience in a corporate environment
- Familiarity with databases and programming for statistical/analytical applications

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $58,300 to $114,300 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
