Job Description Summary
The Quality Assurance Associate will review all laboratory data and test reports prior to release.
Assist the Quality Manager with maintaining the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) including but not limited to execution of Document Control activities, Quality Events (deviation, CAPA, OOS…), Training.
Identify gaps, improve and/or further develop the QMS for cGMP compliance.
Position will grow to include roles such as, but not limited to, Internal Audits, point of contact for customer and/or Regulator visits and inspections, trainer, Quality representative and signatory for documents and records (protocols, test reports, investigations, documents…).
This position is located at our Temecula, CA location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (not all inclusive)
- Conduct timely review of project documentation including but not limited to protocol, laboratory data, and reports prior to release to the client.
- Execution of site Quality System elements and processes (e.g. CAPA, Deviations, audits, training, calibration, document control, records management) under the guidance and direction of the Quality Manager.
- Identify gaps and opportunities to further develop QMS; coordinate and implement enhancements, including procedural updates, release and implementation.
- Work within established SOPs to maintain cGMP compliance
- Work and communicate openly and collaboratively with colleagues and staff
- As needed, participate in investigations and identified corrective or preventive actions.
- Assist in Data Integrity initiatives under site and QAM direction.
- Other activities and duties as needed or assigned
Education, Experience And Skills
- BS degree with 3 years experience and/or general knowledge of a laboratory environment desired.
- Technical written/oral communication skills are highly favored. Ability to author Quality System documentation, reports including review of data and data analysis.
- Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities with the capacity to effectively communicate across the organization.
