The Opportunity
This position works out of our Temecula, CA location in the Abbott Vascular Division. Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease.
What You’ll Work On
- Analyze planning requirements and initiate appropriate action to support the production schedule and / or material demand
- Plan, order and manage inventory and materials
- Serve as liaison with other departments to minimize impact on schedule(s). serve as primary point of contact for production and material related concerns and communications
- Facilitate regular meeting with the operations and provide updates in regards to production lot availability and status
- Support of the department through administrative and tactical execution of specific tasks as communicated by the department manager
- Contribute to short-term, mid-range and long-term organizational goals
- Facilitation / execution of production planning and scheduling processes as well as material management
Required Qualifications
- Technical Diploma
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business Management or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Prefer business experience in: Master Production Scheduling, Materials Requirement Planning, Capacity Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, Supply Planning, Lean and Six Sigma, S&OP Process
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving/ critical-thinking skills
- Ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and other computer software
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability and aptitude to provide solutions and contingency plans through the comprehensive review of alternatives

The base pay for this position is $57,300.00 – $114,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
