We are seeking an entry-level individual for the role of Inside Sales Development Representative. This position will focus on lead generation for Capsa’s pharmacy automation products and solutions and will spend most of the time making outbound calls to pharmacy prospects. Capsa will provide the training required to be successful in this role. This is a remote position and preferred location of candidate is near a Capsa facility (Portland, Columbus, or Chicago).

As Capsa’s Inside Sales Development Representative, your contributions to the team will include:
- Develop knowledge of Pharmacy Automation product and solution offerings.
- Research, use of internal/external databases and identification of potential customer prospects within pharmacy automation for all industry segments.
- Initiate contact with prospects through cold calls, emails, social media outreach, or website and phone inquiries to generate interest in Capsa’s pharmacy automation solutions.
- Engage with prospects to understand their needs, qualify them based on pre-defined criteria, and arrange coordination/escalation to the Outside Sales Team, Inside Sales Team and/or Central Fill/Mail Order Team.
- Through prospecting and outreach, educate customers on the benefits and usage of Capsa’s products and solutions.
- Work closely with the Pharmacy Automation Sales team to develop and implement effective strategies for lead generation and short-term and long-term pipeline growth.
- Accurately record and manage all prospect interactions and information in the CRM system (Salesforce); support sales team with CRM tasks and projects.
What we ask of you:
- Ability to communicate professionally over the phone to sell product solutions is the most important factor in success
- Previous phone sales experience is preferred
- Ability to work independently and be a highly organized self-starter is critical
- Prior use of Salesforce.com is preferred
- Prior pharmacy or healthcare industry experience is also preferred
- Willingness to work as part of a team
