What you will be doing:
The Senior Analyst is accountable for building or maintaining a data monitoring and reporting tool and process for the ProvideGx member compliance program. Data is to be compiled, validated, reported monthly by member to the Field Pharmacy Team and member in a visually appealing format. Member compliance data must be interpreted to identify purchasing trends and help member successfully meet commitment levels. Member opportunities are identified and communicated throughout the quarter. At the close of the quarter, data is validated with the supplier and coordinated with Finance for member payout, data results are communicated to the Field Pharmacy Team for the member. As additional suppliers are added to the program, data monitoring and reporting will be scaled to handle additional suppliers. This position will provide key reports that depict market share data for key contracted products and contract uptake based upon wholesaler purchase data. This also includes market surveillance for competitive pricing. In addition, SOX audits will be performed, ensuring contracting and pricing data is accurate and validated. This position performs analytics utilizing complex data extracts and presents findings and deliverables to key stakeholders to support internal and external customers including Pharmacy Contracting teams, Suppliers, and the field force. The role also develops knowledge of the sourcing process, gains familiarity with terms and conditions, Premier electronic tools, and contract execution process. Ad hoc data analysis will be performed to provide additional intel on member purchasing patterns and help identify opportunities for members. This position will update Salesforce and Dynamics, to establish membership and Drug Commitment Schedules counts in the program.
Key Responsibilities
Tool Development and Analysis - 70%
- Utilize and develop the tool and dashboards that will allow for in depth analysis and be utilized by the ProvideGx team, Field Pharmacy team and shared with members or suppliers.
- Perform in depth analysis of market trends, competitive pricing, product usage, and spend history which includes both the analytical work and a summary documentary for the findings.
- Proactively identify member purchases off contract and work closely with Field Pharmacy Team to address compliance with members.
- Develops key reports and analyses using databases and analytical tools.
- Creates and analyzes compelling reports, graphs, charts, trending, presentations, and identify relevant trends and anomalies.
- Provides summary and data mining analyses and interpretations that help Pharmacy fulfill performance goals through optimization, standardization, aggregation, and other methods.
- Complete spend data analysis and identify other contract sales that could potentially shift to on contract and generate revenue.
- Demonstrates commitment to continuous improvement by implementing process / technology initiatives developed by department leadership.

Maintain Key Supplier Relationships – 20%
- For those suppliers who are participating in the Program, prepare a regular cadence of reports participate in regular meetings.
- Updating Salesforce for ProvideGx membership and DCS counts
- Updating Dynamics for ProvideGx membership
Department Support – 10%
- Assists pharmacy ProvideGx team using pharmacy data to develop key strategies with contracted suppliers.
- Participates in sourcing meetings to ensure a seamless integration throughout the sourcing processes.
- Supports pharmacy ProvideGx leader by completing ad hoc reports upon request.
- Supports Pharmacy initiatives as directed.
- Identify data issues and / or the need for clarification of requirements upon receipt of analysis request.
- Define any necessary clean – up / formatting of data content for data processing to begin.

Experience:
- 4 Years Applicable Experience
- Knowledge of Tableau, Analytics and development capabilities preferred. Financial or operational analytics using large datasets. Financial analyses experience that includes complex analyses and comparisons using intermediate to advanced Excel formulas, understanding data, recognizing trends, and data manipulation in a concise manner to tell a story.
- Candidate must have 2+ years of solid hands-on experience utilizing intermediate features of Excel to conduct financial analyses and comparisons. Must be able to understand the data, look for trends and manipulate the data to understand the story. Must have proficiency with v-lookups and pivot tables in Excel.
- Healthcare industry and/or statistics; Sourcing analytics or contract cycle analytics depending on need. Excel, Power BI, Access, and MicroStrategy

Premier’s compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $64,000 - $118,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
