AbleTo is looking for candidates to serve as Behavioral Coaches for participants enrolled in our Coaching programs. Behavioral Coaches will present participants with new tools to make concrete lifestyle changes. This position is part-time, remote via video-chat or phone.
Flexible scheduling is available, however candidates must have some availability during standard hours (9am to 5pm ET) for occasional mandatory meetings and training sessions, including onboarding.

Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver coaching remotely, typically over the course of an 8-week program, via video conference and/or phone
- Support the mental and physical health care of an assigned participant through our secure digital health platforms
- Receive regular support from AbleTo Clinical Supervisors
- Depending on the participant's AbleTo program, work either 1:1 with a participant, or collaboratively within a clinical treatment team

Required Qualifications
- BA w/ certification (Master's is preferred)
- NBHWC or ICF certification
- 3+ years of experience coaching or counseling adults within a mental health capacity
- Available 10 - 19 hours a week, including evenings and weekends
- Private, dependable access to the internet
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in behavioral health related field
- Spanish-speaking bilingual skills
Soft Skills
- Must be knowledgeable of or have some understanding of cognitive behavioral approaches, short-term therapy approaches, anxiety, and depression
- Must have a range of experience addressing behavioral health, medical, and life transition challenges with adults; including risk management
- Solid time management skills and attention to detail
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Ability to manage workload in an independent setting
- Experience with team collaboration and coordination of care with external resources

Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $19.47 to $38.08 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
