We are seeking a passionate and skilled Associate Product Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the future growth of Moog.
As an Additive Manufacturing Associate Product Engineer at the Moog Additive Manufacturing Center, you will play a pivotal role in the development and production of critical space hardware. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from creating operational sheets to developing post-process methods, all aimed at ensuring the highest quality and timely delivery of our products. Your expertise will drive the advancement of our additive manufacturing processes, contributing to the success of Moog's space propulsion applications.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools.

Key Responsibilities
- Operational Sheet (Op Sheet) Creation:
- Develop detailed operational sheets for the additive manufacturing process, ensuring clarity and precision in production instructions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize and standardize operational procedures.
- Post-Process Method Development:
- Innovate and implement post-processing techniques to enhance the quality and performance of additively manufactured components.
- Evaluate and refine post-process methods to meet stringent aerospace standards.
- Research and Development:
- Conduct research to advance additive manufacturing processes, focusing on laser powder bed fusion technology.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate cutting-edge solutions into our manufacturing processes.
- Laser Scan Parameter Development:
- Develop and optimize laser scan parameters to achieve desired material properties and component geometries.
- Perform experimental trials and analyze data to refine laser scan strategies.
- Root Cause Failure Investigation:
- Lead investigations into component failures, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to ensure robust and reliable manufacturing processes.
- Accountability for On-Time and Quality Delivery:
- Take ownership of the timely and quality delivery of critical space hardware, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, quality assurance teams, and other stakeholders to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Salary Range Transparency
Buffalo, NY $60,000.00–$85,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
