Job Summary And Qualifications
The Pharmacy Reporting and Implementation Manager is responsible for supporting new and existing member implementations, conversions and optimization to HealthTrust’s Pharmacy portfolio of contracts. Responsibilities include working with sales, marketing, cost analytics and other stakeholders to ensure prospective customer due diligence is complete and accurate. In addition, this position is responsible for evaluation and optimization of existing HealthTrust members as it relates to contract/clinical implementation and compliance. The Reporting and Implementation Manager will be on site when necessary and work closely with the field-based team to include the Sales RVP, Regional CEO and the assigned Account Director.
What you will do in this role:
- Under general supervision, the Pharmacy Reporting and Implementation Manager is responsible for supporting new and existing member implementations, conversions and optimization to HealthTrust’s Pharmacy portfolio of contracts.
- Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Supports Pharmacy Membership Reporting and Analytics, including but not limited to benchmarking, IDN ad hoc requests, inflation/deflation reporting, and pricing program optimization
- Assist with reporting and presentations for Pharmacy Member QBRs;
- Manages relationship with Business Solutions Department surrounding cost analytics, inSight Rx, and other reporting processes
- Responsible for initiating and tracking savings guarantees
- Collaborate with TI on updates and enhancements to the Pharmacy Reports within the Self-Service Reporting tool;
- Oversight for the coordination and completion of Pharmacy review of due-diligence process and RFP review for new pharmacy members to assure complete and accurate comparative pricing, from/to reports and cost savings analysis;
- Coordinate and collaborate to develop a detailed and customized implementation strategy for each new acute care member facility;
- Evaluate and support integration of external analytic platforms (i.e. S/T Health) to assess capabilities of developing internal analytic programs that support membership needs to enhance compliance and optimization of HealthTrust contracts and initiatives;
- Monitors, records, analyzes and reports on activities, trends, results and recommendations for Clinical Initiatives and other various Clinical Pharmacy Initiatives for new and current members;
- Support the design, build and monitoring of strategic reports for the purpose of member implementation, enhancing member compliance, and documenting and reporting of savings;
- Supports monitoring member compliance with negotiated pharmacy contract terms and conditions and presents those reports to account directors prior to quarterly business reviews of member IDNs;
- Participate on site as needed to support account management team with implementations and QBR’s;
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with internal and external resources including, but not limited to sourcing, clinical operations, financial operations, board leads, account management, and all of the sales team (AM,AD, Sales RVP, Regional CEO);
- Provide support and assistance to members, customer service, account management, and other corporate departments as needed or requested to support inquiries concerning HealthTrust Pharmacy Program
- Works with Director of Clinical Integration and Implementation in developing IDN-level reports to identify opportunities and measure progress of pharmacy initiatives;
- Performs various data collection, analysis and interpretation to support customer requirements;
- Identify creative and innovative strategies that improve the pharmacy member experience, including the development of member analytical tools and reporting that assist during the GPO conversion process;
- Participate in weekly meetings with wholesaler reps and Pharmacy Integration Manager to discuss upcoming member adds and outstanding member issues;
- Facilitate the resolution of member pricing/contract discrepancies as needed;
- Provide routine updates to the Pharmacy Services Group (and the Pharmacy Advisory Board, as necessary) surrounding new member implementations and ongoing related activities;
- Provide subject matter support and assistance to Customer Service, Account Management, and other corporate departments as needed or requested;
- Work with HealthTrust audit team to assist and facilitate engagement and finalization of audit projects.
What qualifications you will need:
- Accredited College Bachelor's Degree required
- 3-7 years’ experience and Bachelor of Science in Business or related field required. Acute care facility experience preferred. Experience with multifacility/IDN pharmacy contracting initiative conversions and implementations also preferred.
- Understanding or aptitude to learn the pharmaceutical product categories assigned
- Must have strong analytical skills with the ability to create or interpret potentially complex financial models
- General understanding of pharmacy contract term and condition provisions
- Excellent oral, written communication skills and presentation skills are required
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required
- Solid knowledge of all MS Office Products
