Job Summary And Qualifications
The Clinical Placement Coordinator is responsible for facilitating clinical placements for both undergraduate and graduate students. This includes the prioritizing of practicum/capstone rotations utilizing a tiered approach. This includes coordination with HCA facilities and academic partners to ensure an optimal student experience. The clinical placement coordinator is responsible for managing academic affiliations, troubleshooting access issues, and supporting other tasks associated with student onboarding, orientation and experience. The clinical placement coordinator also partners with student placement platforms such as; CastleBranch and My Clinical Exchange to ensure issues are resolved in a timely fashion and the applications are utilized optimally.
What you will do in this role includes:
Quality
- Responsible for timely approval, scheduling, and communication of schedule to facilities and academic partners.
- Prioritization of Capstone/Practicum placements utilizing tiered approach for approvals.
- Maintenance of Student Placement Tracker spreadsheet
- Support for student access ie: eSaff troubleshooting, badging and receiving ¾ IDs
- Student orientation and on-boarding/compliance support.
- Rotation troubleshooting, escalating up chain of command for issues.
- DEU scheduling/coordination/management.
- Student Experience Survey tracking/compliance/reporting.
- Providing preceptor support- ensuring they know their role expectations related to students
- Monitors the practices/operations of student placement with reference to state board, laws regulations, guidelines, etc. (i.e. FERPA, nursing state board, CDC)- ensure we are following any changes

What qualifications you will need: - High School Diploma or GED equivalent – Required
- Three plus years in academic placement - Preferred
