Job Title
The Manager, Installation Services. You will partner closely with Sales, Engineering, Consulting Services and Finance functions to develop solutions, implement robotics and automation innovation while ensuring delivery of impactful solutions for the business. You will work directly with internal and external stakeholders to develop innovation strategies.
Responsibilities
- Enable the advancement of core robotics and automation technologies with cross functional teams, external suppliers, and 3rd party consultants by taking advantage of available emerging technologies to identify/solve key technical and configuration problems.
- Provide leadership and work direction of an organization of 15+ staff.
- Partner with cross functional finance and operations teams to develop business case and ROI models
- Manage training and new hire on-boarding scheduling, while collaborating with Workforce Management team to support project staffing.
- Continually assess and identify the technical / training needs for the team.
- Creates and maintains strong relationships with counterparts in Sales, Service and Professional Services.
- Maintains 3rd party relationships as determined by business needs.
- Collaborates with product development and engineering teams to design more efficient product assembly strategies.
- Participates in developing strategic plans for future product growth.
- Develop new and innovative approach to assist meeting customer desired outcomes and improve efficiencies
- Works with Central Pharmacy leadership team to build forward looking strategies to support new products and technology
- Drives organizational change
- Assist in developing and executing effective practices, tools, and standards for installation of central pharmacy products
- Participant in, or lead, company strategic initiatives
- Assist with customer and internal escalations as needed
- Track the relevant technology frontiers in academia and industry, and directly contribute to the strategic plan, goal setting for both mid- and long-term research and development
- Develops best practices to improve installation efficiency, quality, and safety
- Creates and monitors key performance indicators
- Utilizes team resources and collaborative relationships to achieve company goals for revenue
Required Knowledge And Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of industry standard technology
- Ability to communicate, articulately and persuasively to key personnel internally and externally
- Strong planning, organizational and presentation skills
- Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience
- In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.
- Advanced troubleshooting & problem-solving skills, from business to higher level technical matters
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related Field
- Minimum 3 years’ previous people management experience in a healthcare focused company.
OR
- Associates Degree or Professional Healthcare Certification and 4 years’ experience in project management and healthcare.
Preferred Qualifications
- Mechanical/Robotics/Electrical Engineering experience
- 5 years of Healthcare IT Experience
Work Conditions
- Remote/field-based role.
- 50% Travel required.
- Management of a remote team.
- Extended hours in front of a computer using video technology.
- Work across multiple time zones.
