This position will be on the Optum Health Solutions (OHS) team and will be accountable for the Musculoskeletal Product.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, drive and execute a product strategy with respect to value proposition, positioning, product portfolio(s), distribution and product features/function
- Manage product P&L; review product performance against expectations; formulate and recommend changes to achieve optimal performance
- Drive strategy across teams to ensure aligned, cohesive progress across multiple areas including Reporting/Analytics, Healthcare Economics, and Network
- Innovate across the business in order to drive efficiency and growth; serve as a subject matter expert
- Engage existing and new key clients for strategic discussions on market trend impact, current issues and new product concepts
- Create cost-benefit analyses and frameworks to evaluate prioritization of new development
- Influence innovation & integration across teams to ensure aligned; cohesive progress across technology, marketing and service operations
- Client interaction and engagement is expected
- A directive style is a must

Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of product and/or project management experience within a matrix organization
- Experience using data and research to formulate logical business recommendations
- Experience managing P&L and affordability
- Vendor management experience, including relationship with C-suite
- Ability to understand complex topics and simplify for audiences - internal & external
- Advanced use of PowerPoint to develop proposals
- Established people leader
- Demonstrated ability to influence teams and prioritize deliverables
- Eden Prairie, MN location is preferred; telecommute may be considered

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
