Moog’s Commercial Aircraft Group (CAG) is looking for a Group IT Director to oversee the IT vision, strategy and leadership for all Commercial Aircraft Divisions and sites. You will report to the GVP, Finance & Business Management and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.
To be considered for Group IT Director role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum ten (10) years of professional IT experience; preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum five (5) years leading teams and being involved in strategic decision making
- Demonstrated success in identifying and capturing value from advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, digital manufacturing, and/or other significant technology trends
- Strong Business & Financial acumen
- Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others
As The Group IT Director, You Will
- Provide IT vision, strategy and leadership for all Group businesses and sites.
- Serve as liaison between Commercial Aircraft Group and Corporate IT to ensure successful service delivery execution and end user experience of enterprise IT services.
- Ensure smooth execution of all corporate transformational initiatives (e.g. SAP, PLM, etc.)
- Partner with Group, Division and Functional leadership on understanding business strategies and needs and building IT solutions and roadmaps to support those.
- Mature the IT organization so that it is a key enabler of the business which includes both innovative solutions and initiatives that maximize operational efficiencies and drive business value.
- Spearhead business intelligence initiatives to drive better decision making.
- Manage, lead, and develop the Commercial Aircraft Group IT team.

Salary Range Transparency
Buffalo, NY $180,000.00–$230,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
