The Mission of the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) is to protect and promote the health of all San Franciscans. SFDPH strives to achieve its mission through the work of two main Divisions - the San Francisco Health Network and Population Health. The San Francisco Health Network is the City’s only complete system of care and has locations throughout the City, including Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center, Laguna Honda Hospital and Rehabilitation Center, and over 15 primary care health centers.
General Schedule : Mon-Fri 8-4:30pm, can vary based on operational need.
- ZSFG request carrying an on-call pager for 1 week period. (When fully staffed will be once every 7 weeks and minimally one holiday.
- Pharmacy Business Operations Supervisor - Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital & Trauma Center (ZSFG)
- Purchasing operations oversight for on-campus clinics and drug recalls. 340B Program Administrator for the San Francisco Health Network 340B Drug Pricing Program.
- Staff : 2-3 pharmacist, 3-4 Techs
- Desirable to have previous knowledge/experience with 340b
- Outpatient Pharmacy Services Supervisor - Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital & Trauma Center (ZSFG)
- Provide supervision and technical/clinical direction to staff pharmacist and pharmacy technicians in an Outpatient pharmacy setting. In addition, you will assist the Director of Pharmacy with the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of your assigned area.
- Staff: 8 pharmacists, 10-15 Techs
- Desirable: Hospital or institutional OPs
- Medication Safety and Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor - Laguna Honda Hospital and Rehabilitation Center (LHH)
- As a leader in the pharmacy department for safe medication use, this position will work with LHH leaders across disciplines. This position will play an integral role in how medication data is analyzed and presented at key committees, and how it is used to drive improvement in medication safety across the hospital with the goal of maintaining CMS compliance.
- Staff: 5 Pharmacists only clinical.
- Desirable:
- Solid understanding of geriatric and LTC practices adherent to regulatory requirements.
- Experienced with medication safety and quality improvement across multi-disciplinary teams.
- SNF best practices and experience in mixed acute -long term setting.
- Knowledge/experience with IV compounding.
Min. Qualifications required :
- Current valid California Registered Pharmacist license.
- Minimal 2 years’ experience as a licensed pharmacist in a hospital pharmacy; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Preferred Bilingual Eng/Span
