Eagle is looking for a motivated Vice President of Market Access - Oncology to join the team.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead overall US market access strategy for Oncology products.
- Lead and manage the multiple points that influence brand access and utilization, including Distribution channels, Patient Support, Providers and Health Care Payers.
- Pricing and contracting strategy.
- Clinical and cost effectiveness value propositions.
- Oversee policy updates and impacts.
- Patient Support and reimbursement programs to eliminate barriers to patient access and reimbursement.
- Represent Eagle at key meetings, functions, and conferences, and other venues, as appropriate.
- Conduct all business in accordance with company compliance guidelines and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulatory mandates.
- Develop a strong relationship and work in close coordination with the field commercial organization.
- Significant technical understanding and key relationships established in major market access areas including Distribution channels, Patient Support, Providers and Health Care Payers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage C-Suite level relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and executive presence.
- Subject matter expertise in Provider business models including Institutions/Hospitals, Medical groups/ GPOs and IDNs.
- Proven success launching new products.
- Established track record of consistently exceeding performance goals and working successfully in cross functional partnerships and matrixed relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, confident executive presence, outstanding negotiating skills.
- Working knowledge of US health care policies and programs and all relevant legal, compliance, regulatory and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. in related field.
- 10 years of general pharmaceutical industry experience, within increasing levels of responsibility and experience.
- At least 3 years of experience managing oncology GPOs, with at least 7 years of combined experience in trade, account management, sales, market access and/or payer marketing required.
- Key account management responsibility including contract negotiation and management required.
- Experience in managing ongoing specialty distribution / GPO service agreements.
- Experience with specialty product distribution preferred.
Work Conditions:
- Ability to travel up to 40%
- This position is based in the Woodcliff Lake, NJ office.
