Overview
You will be a highly effective content creator on the content team, owning a broad range of diverse projects with agility, versatility, and high-volume output. You are adept at sourcing relevant new content ideas; collecting—and filtering input from customer facing teams, and leveraging subject matter experts for source materials and factual reviews; and developing and owning the editorial narrative of content assets to support inbound demand generation and MDR outbound activities.
You are adept at utilizing your domain knowledge in the Life Sciences, Healthcare, and/or Pharma industries to build persona-based messages and intentionally test message effectiveness to determine what works.
You think strategically about how each asset fits into solution go-to-market plans—whether it’s top-of-the-funnel education or deeper and solution-focused; are always driving to engage, progress, and convert our target audiences. You stay focused on what will move the needle, and are able to filter out distractions that don’t contribute to our primary business goals.
You have superior writing and self-editing skills, requiring fewer review cycles. You are flexible, moving seamlessly from short-form and long-form assets, and are able to independently keep on top of many moving pieces.
Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of the business opportunities and value solutions that TraceLink will bring to market, and the messaging that will effectively engage our audiences and resonate with buyer pain points and key business drivers.
- Work closely with members across the Global Demand Gen team, including Global MDRs, to ensure the content development roadmap for each month/quarter meets their campaign needs.
- Fluently develop articles, whitepapers, presentations, webinars, video clips, lead qualification, and objection-handling materials.
- Collaborate with Marketing Operations and MDR teams to build effective playbooks for Live Chat, with a focus on continuous optimization.
- Focus on developing highly engaging and relevant content by persona for specific solutions/use cases and support tailored messaging toward target accounts.
- Test different messages and hooks to drive engagement and response in post-campaign follow-up by MDR teams.
- Try new content vehicles to build awareness, drive campaign engagement, and enhance the customer experience with every touchpoint.
- Keep pace with developments in the life sciences and pharmaceutical supply chain markets, compliance requirements, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Understand content efficacy through Google Analytics, Demand Generation measurements, and other tools.
Skills and Experience:
- Superior writing and storytelling skills: you can take complex ideas and concepts, and effectively communicate them in logical, persuasive narratives.
- 7+ years’ experience in a content-centric marketing or sales enablement role, producing a diverse mix of collateral. 4+ years’ experience in the Pharma or Life Sciences industry strongly preferred.
- Ability to understand and utilize the right mix of development and deployment tools and vehicles (e.g. one-pagers, videos, webinars, portals, presentations) to achieve marketing and sales objectives.
- Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels to understand requirements and common objectives, and synthesize into consistent message delivery.
- Experience working in one or more content management systems.
- Team player – this is a highly cross-functional, global position and requires the ability to foster collaborative and positive relationships across company teams, departments, and regions.
- Ability to demonstrate confidence, accountability, ownership, collaboration, tact, and trust.
- Self-starter who can act independently while supporting team and organizational goals.
- Solid time management and scheduling skills – the right candidate is well-organized and detail-oriented to meet deadlines, and flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously.
