This position is focused on quality problem resolution at manufacturing plants with a focus on plant capabilities in Chemical processing and packaging. Primary objective is continuous improvement in quality, process control, material efficiency and startup of new product production.
Principle Accountabilities
- Supports site TPM initiative program and improvement process. Helps to develop and implement action plans to solve problems; works with other department and site employees to achieve and maintain ISO 9001 and RC 14000 certification. Member of the PQ Pillar.
- Support Quality improvement road map, scope projects and initiatives to eliminate losses. Individual contributor or Project manager for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) approach to control critical quality attributes in target processes.
- Support Lab testing method transfer from Research stage to QA Lab adaptation phase with focus on ISO compliance. Trouble shooting testing method to identify biases and develop harmonization plans.
- Recognized Subject Mater Expert (SME) on Key manufacturing process, able to articulate quality improvement plans to technical and non-technical teams.
- Lead customer complaints and nonconformance investigation. Assigns RCA, Corrective actions and preventative actions to cross functional team members.
- Data mining in- process and finished batch to identify early signs of process deviation. Support Engineering, Maintenance and Production to eliminate loses to maintain control limits.
- Maintian current KPI and develop new measurements to reflect areas of opportunities and to track improvements execution plans.
- Supports plant functions during external and internal audits including ISO 9001, NSF, Halal, Kosher and customer audits.
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science, or related field with strong Chemistry component
- Three years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications
Certified Quality engineer or equivalent certification.
