Senior QA (Platform)
Core Responsibilities
1. Test Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with project goals and healthcare regulations. - Define the scope, objectives, and criteria for testing activities.
2. Test Design and Execution: Design detailed test cases and scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements. - Execute various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, performance, security, and user acceptance testing).
3. Automation: - Identify opportunities for test automation and implement automated test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage. - Maintain and update the automation framework.
4. Compliance and Regulatory Testing: Ensure that the software complies with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). - Conduct validation and verification activities to meet regulatory standards.
5. Defect Management- Identify, document, and track defects using a defect management system. - Work closely with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
6. Performance Testing: - Conduct performance testing to ensure the software can handle high volumes of data and concurrent users. - Analyze performance test results and recommend optimizations.
7. Security Testing: Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure data protection. - Collaborate with security teams to address any identified issues.
8. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts. - Provide clear and concise test reports and communicate test results and risks to stakeholders.
9. Continuous Improvement: - Stay updated on the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry trends. - Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
