Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is looking for a Senior Executive Assistant to join our exceptional team in Carlsbad, CA. As the Senior Executive Assistant for the Senior Vice President, Specialty Diagnostics Group, you will play a vital role in supporting our managers and leaders, ensuring seamless coordination and clear communication both within and outside the organization. You will have the chance to work with outstanding individuals and collaborate with different individuals and groups, including employees, clients, vendors, and collaborators.
Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars, screen meeting requests, and handle frequent changes.
- Plan, organize, and schedule meetings and events.
- Screen calls and correspondence, responding independently when appropriate.
- Prepare documents, presentations, and spreadsheets.
- Make travel arrangements and prepare itineraries.
- Review and process expense reports.
- Provide general administrative support.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, associates degree or Bachelor's degree.
- 8+ years of executive assistant experience in a professional office environment.
- Experience working at for senior level executives.
- Background working within a large, heavily matrixed organization. Global experience is helpful.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Heavy calendar and travel experience.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Solid judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
- Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude.
- Expert level skills in Microsoft Office suite.

Compensation And Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $83,300.00–$125,000.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
