We are looking for a tech-savvy HR Project Consultant who can navigate the nuances and variations of project management, can drive alignment and enable success through strong execution to enable HR strategic goals. Do you thrive in a fast-paced, complex and matrixed global environment?
This role leads, collaborates on, and/or facilitates Human Resources (HR) projects and improvements to enhance business outcomes. Part of the HR Process Enablement team within HR Operations, this role primarily supports goals and projects prioritized within our Talent platform or center of excellence (COE). We engage with a range of partners to drive outcomes while coordinating several moving parts simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Consultation and Stakeholder Management
Facilitate understanding and alignment across the HR Platforms/COEs (Total Rewards, Talent, Culture and Counsel, HR Operations) priorities by influencing team decisions and tradeoffs enable the most impactful outcomes.
Engage with internal customers to establish connection to the HR Goal Tree, project level of effort, and organizational impact to help inform overall HR project priorities.
Partner with HR Platform(s) to develop roadmaps reflecting thoughtful prioritization across initiatives focused on strategic goals.
Project Management
Lead activities related to project management and process improvement including: understand business needs and align team/leadership on options and recommendations; develop project charters; build project plans and change and communications plans, including roles and responsibilities; update team and steering committee on key decisions and status; ensure timely execution of results.
Facilitate collaborative and effective internal customer and project team meetings, ensuring collective understanding of current and upcoming tasks, timelines and owners.
Understand key interdependencies and translate end state goals into scope requirements and effective project plans. Use technical savvy and HR systems knowledge to effectively lead projects, understand interdependencies and possible technology solutions.
Apply project management principles to identify risks, remediate issues, ensure timely and quality results and drive successful overall project delivery.
Create and deliver presentations to drive alignment and to “connect the dots” for the end-customer.
Continuous Improvement
Provide thought partnership to influence team direction and champion an environment of continuous learning, sharing, improvement and evolution throughout the HR Operations platform.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, IT or related field
- 5+ years Human Resources, HR consultation, HR Operations and/or HR Information Technology, or equivalent or related subject area
- Project management skills and experience, including understanding of how to interpret customer needs into operational requirements
- Leadership experience and ability to work collaboratively with a matrixed team of professionals across functions and business groups
- Strong relationship management and influencing skills, including facilitation skills
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues, make decisions, and solve problems
- Workday HCM, ServiceNow or other HR systems experience preferred
Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
- Experience leading large scale, global, complex projects with demonstrated success
- Understanding of project management, stakeholder management and change management principles
- Strong organization and planning skills with attention to detail
- Strong social and consultative skills
- Solid verbal and written communication and listening skills
Compensation And Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $118,100.00–$177,200.00.
