Sales Coordinators offer reliable support and collaboration for 3-4 different sales reps within assigned territories and help improve efficiency of the territory as sales volumes increase. Sales Coordinators also assist in analyzing and resolving problems that may arise within the territory with customers and sales reps.
Your collaboration
- Validate bid requests that come in through phone/fax or email, convert them to opportunities in Salesforce, and assign to the appropriate Sales rep.
- Update and/or create opportunities in Salesforce for the reps in your territory specific to the opportunity type. These include but are not limited to:
- Downloading bid documents / Request for Proposals (RFPs) for construction projects & ensuring there is scope of work.
- Creating opportunities for Time and Materials requests that come through from Project Managers and/or Sales reps.
- Creating the engagement/estimating request based on prior booking sheet data.
- Bid documentation process for Construction:
- After initial download, follow up on Bid proposals and changes for projects, and maintain those in our internal folder files.
- Ensure that your territory sales team calendar is up to date with bid due dates and assist with getting Bid submitted.
- Ensure that insurance requirements are met and contracts reviewed with Legal.
- Collaborate with the sales reps to prepare and/or review their proposals when
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal and other internal departments to gather and organize all relevant information needed for the bid.
- Deliver best-in-class service to current and future customers in your territory, assisting with their questions and connecting them with their Sales rep when appropriate.
- Based on your sales reps' needs, generate reports including:
- Open opportunities or closed/lost, closed/won.
- Snapshot reports for customers out of our database.
- Open opportunities that have not been acted on.
- Responsible for working on data input, data integrity and maintenance in our CRM platform. Collaborate with the sales enablement team to expand your learning about generating reports, editing and cleaning up tasks/leads, updating SSRs in your territory.
- Interdepartmental support that may arise (assisting your teammates if needed, building relationships with new reps as they join the team).
Your competence
- High School Diploma or Associates Degree.
- 0-3 years experience in a sales support role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience in SAP & SalesForce.com or similar CRM/ERP systems.
- Ability to utilize Internet search and reporting functions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Professional demeanor and exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to listen carefully to customers and team members to understand their needs and concerns in order to resolve issues as efficiently and effectively as possible.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented and curious, with a desire to learn.
- Ability to work independently while in a fast-paced, high-energy and fun team environment.
Desirable, but not Essential:
Compensation: Salary range for this position is $51,200 - 55,000. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skillset. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical / dental / vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, disability, 401k matching (up to 8%).
