We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Product Marketing to lead our product marketing initiatives for our enterprise healthcare SaaS solutions. The role will define and execute strategies that position our products as industry leaders, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive market adoption, influence product direction, and shape the future of healthcare technology on a national scale. This position will work alongside clinicians who have cared for patients, data scientists who have built many of the models that drive quality in healthcare, and entrepreneurs who have built and scaled successful companies in healthcare.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies that align with corporate goals and drive global market penetration.
- Define and articulate compelling value propositions and messaging that differentiate our solutions in a competitive marketplace.
- Become an integral part of how we take our platform’s value proposition to the market, with broad responsibility for the messaging and content strategy of our product lines.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product marketing team to achieve ambitious objectives.
- Oversee in-depth market research and competitive analysis to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Partner with Product Management, Sales, and Global Marketing teams to align on product roadmaps and customer needs.
- Drive the creation of sales tools and training that empower our sales teams to succeed
- Establish KPIs and utilize data-driven insights to measure and optimize the impact of product marketing initiatives
Qualifications/Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in any field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Non-traditional training pathways are welcome.
- Experience: 15+ years in developing and implementing product marketing strategies, with at least 10 years in a leadership position.
- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, including hospital operations and regulatory environments.
- Relationship Builder: Proven ability to establish and nurture executive-level relationships within the healthcare sector.
- Strategic Visionary: Skilled in developing strategies that align partnerships with business objectives.
- Exceptional Communicator: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
- Negotiation Skills: Experienced in leading complex negotiations and securing favorable agreements.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficient in evaluating data to assess product performance and inform decision-making.
- Collaborative Leader: Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational initiatives.

Estimated Hiring Range
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $187,800.00 to $328,600.00.
This position is also incentive eligible.
