The ERP Systems Administrator is responsible for the support and assistance of our Enterprise Resource Planning systems (Baan IV, Infor LN, SAP), our Warehouse Management System (WAMAS), and other related systems. The administrator works collaboratively within the Liebherr IT Organizations and other departments for the support, continuous improvement and implementation of new systems or business processes that would affect any of the departments using these systems or satellite systems for ERP or warehouse management.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all IT related aspects regarding the implementation of new tools or modules of the ERP or warehouse management software for LME and LUS.
- Monitor interfaces from the warehouse management system to the ERP system.
- Keep systems up to date through patches.
- Resolve database access and performance issues.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve system issues: hardware and software.
- Configure and support printers, scanners and mobile devices used with the ERP and warehouse management system.
- Coordinates work with other IT resources and consultants as required.
- Assist with the design and development of specific customizations.
- Assist Liebherr IT with executing testing and application validation before delivery to key-users.
- Support key users for testing and configuration.
- Aid in developing test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports.
- Coordinate the development of SharePoint forms, BI reports or other tools interfaced with the ERP and warehouse management systems.
- Training of IT resources in the administration of ERP and Warehouse Management tools.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects for other US divisions.
- Escalate and coordinate problems with management, and other IT departments as required.
- Provide efficient reports on project progress and other assignments.
- Stay current on emerging technologies in applications used in our environment through training, independent research and involvement with standard-setting Liebherr groups.
Competencies
Education And Experience
- Level I: A minimum of one of the following.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Associate degree in computer science or related field with two or more years demonstrated work experience in IT.
- Four years of demonstrated work experience in IT.
- Level II: A minimum of one of the following.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in computer science or related field with two or more years demonstrated work experience in ERP administration.
- Associate degree in computer science or related field with four or more years demonstrated work experience in ERP administration.
- Six or more years demonstrated work experience in ERP administration.
- Level III: A minimum of one of the following.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in computer science or related field with four or more years demonstrated work experience in ERP administration.
- Associate degree in computer science or related field with six or more years demonstrated work experience in ERP administration.
- Eight or more years demonstrated work experience in ERP administration.
All Levels
- Knowledge and experience working within an Agile/SCRUM environment is a plus.
- Initial experience and development capability with SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio Code and/or other similar data management tools is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience with SQL Server databases.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
- Experience working with a helpdesk ticketing system.
- Ability to analyze systems and processes in a business environment.
- Ability to make decisions; support and explain reasoning for decisions; include appropriate people in decision-making process.

Additional Requirements
- Travel domestically and internationally occasionally.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license and passport.
