We’re looking for a Program Manager to join our team.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage one large program, including dozens of sub-projects, from concept to completion
- Understand and articulate the program plan (including the vision, objective, requirements, scope, deliverables, team, timeline, etc.)
- Partner with stakeholders to write clear and concise project briefs
- Understand how to utilize our internal resources and external partners, assembling the right working group for each project
- Partner with internal procurement team to create necessary production documentation (e.g. SOW, RFP, etc.)
- Create and manage the program schedules, ensuring the team has adequate time to do their work and is consistently meeting deadlines
- Create and manage the program budget, including internal and external costs
- Identify and navigate issues as they arise, and escalate them when necessary
- Be a resource for the team, ensuring they have the information and assets they need to create exceptional work
- Maintain and improve processes make our team more organized and efficient
- Partner with team leads to manage people resources
- Monitor progress and share regular status reports with the team
- Foster collaboration and alignment, from the daily contributors to the decision makers to the executive sponsors

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant project/program management experience within an established, product-driven tech company
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified SCRUM
- Certified PMI
- Proven ability to establish trust and credibility amongst cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to be an exceptional communicator—verbal, written, and listening
- Proven understanding of the agile product development process
- Proven understanding the process for bringing a new consumer product to market
- Proven understanding of the iterative creative process
- Ability to be organized, process-oriented, thorough, and detail-oriented
- Ability to stay nimble and flexible as priorities shift and the team scales
- Ability to collaborate well and can quickly adapt to different individuals’ work styles
- Experience in health-tech and/or fin-tech

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
