With a salary starting at $90.00, Rx relief is looking for the right person to fill an Outpatient Pharmacist position right now.
The Outpatient Pharmacist will ensure safe, optimal and efficacious drug therapy for patients, as you review, process and monitor physician orders and patient medication profiles. As an active member of the health care team, the Outpatient Pharmacist is responsible for contacting other health care professionals as appropriate performing duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the hospital’s mission and values.

Job Specifics and Requirements:
Area: Alaska
Licensure Requirements: Must have open, active, and in good standing in any state to start with, then apply for an Alaska Pharmacist License
Education: PharmD
Years of Experience: 1 + years, new grads accepted
Setting: Outpatient, 13 or 26 weeks assignments
Schedule: 4-10's; Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 7:30pm
Pay: $90.00 plus travel expenses will be covered. Relocation packages available.
Background/ Drug Requirements: Must be willing to submit to a background check, health and drug screen.
Outpatient Pharmacist
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations including workflow, maintenance of quality control standards and compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations
- Manage and develop pharmacy staff including hiring, training, performance reviews, and employee relations
- Maintain positive relationships with patients, doctors and insurance companies
- Ensure proper stocking and inventory management of pharmaceutical supplies
- Process prescriptions accurately and within legal turnaround times
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $90.00 Per Hour
