As a
Quality Control Lab Technician at Ecolab, you will perform routine laboratory tests for ion exchange resins, as well as perform required quality tests to applicable products, product investigation, and approve finished products. Duties may include one or more of the following: Approves incoming materials meet specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials for re-work. Document all inspection results. You may work under the supervision of the QC supervisor.
Job Responsibilities
- Calibrates and maintains laboratory instruments.
- Performs in-process and final product analysis.
- Execute against SOPs in a laboratory environment.
- Records results on appropriate quality sheets.
- Maintains daily quality control log books.
- Maintains quality control records.
- Performs analysis on incoming raw materials.
- Performs selected analysis on finished products.
- Maintains lab in an orderly manner.
- Substitutes for absent workers.
- Reports out of specification material to the production department shift leads as soon as result are available.
- Packages retained samples, maintain samples in approved storage areas.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology or other Life science degree.
- This position is for 1st shift (5:30 am- 6:00pm: 4 days on - 4 days off, 12 hours a day). First 3 weeks schedule: Monday to Friday (8 hours a day) for training.
- Experience with techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries and diseases.
- Experience analyzing data and accurately document and record results.

- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
