Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in conducting compliance audits to ensure employee activities and records align with legal and company policies.
- Review internal processes and documentation for compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Identify areas of improvement and suggest actionable solutions to reduce compliance risks.
- Help clients draft and refine employee-related policies, such as codes of conduct, workplace behavior guidelines, and other compliance documentation.
- Ensure policies are clear and accessible to employees and management.
- Assist in designing and delivering training sessions on compliance topics, such as workplace anti-harassment.
- Support clients in developing training materials and ensure their teams understand compliance requirements.
- Provide support in investigating minor compliance violations or employee complaints, documenting findings, and offering recommendations for resolution.
- Collaborate with senior specialists, clients and senior management when more complex compliance issues arise.
- Prepare basic reports summarizing audit findings, policy updates, or training outcomes for clients.
- Keep accurate records of compliance activities to ensure thorough documentation and regulatory adherence
- Maintain confidential records and ensure compliance with confidential documents and information
- Demonstrate and promote the company vision
- Practice regular attendance and punctuality
- Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in compliance, HR, or a related role.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Understanding of basic compliance frameworks and concepts, with the ability to learn and apply new skills quickly.
- Authorization to work in the United Stated indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Additional Information
Position is Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours, as needed. Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
