The Team
In this role you will be responsible for the development and implementation of cloud based business applications from the design to the complete deployment of the solutions, which includes maintaining, debugging and executing analytical models for costing and decision support projects. You will also be responsible for the monthly processing of the deliverables across CHI customers and will be called upon to mentor and coach less experienced analysts.

You Will Be
Processing Cost Analytics Models (daily/monthly activity)
- Proactively identifies and communicates issues that may jeopardize milestones. Effective at handling complex problems and troubleshooting for effective resolution.
- Manage multiple highly complex projects and customers through the successful implementation of Costing and Decision Support solutions to achieve expected process improvement and return on investment.
- Processing monthly raw data into the translated tables into a usable format to run the Analytic models.
- Accountable for all aspects of testing (e.g. testing plan, scenarios, documentation, and defect management. Will interface closely with the business and technical staff on the team during all phases of the project.
- Execute data model and verify / validate all results.
- Analyse and reconcile configuration issues of raw data returning from feed.
- Assist with defining development standards and Best Practices.
Product Development Support and Customer Management
- Adheres to AGILE/ Scrum or similar project management methodology by utilizing internal procedures and tools and identifying areas for methodology improvement.
- Creation of new products and features that focus on analysis accountable healthcare organizations:
- Creation of the development of data products and interface design specifications.
- Contributes to the design and mapping of data conversion strategies.
- Sorting of key information from clients’ enterprise systems/data warehouses using dimensional design techniques such as the snowflake/star schema process.
- Creation of User Interfaces that meets the expectation of Craneware’s (CHI) desired customer experience.
- Proficient to expert analytical and problem solving skills.
- Understands the drivers and requirements of the business and translates those into technology solutions.
Product Enhancement/ Updates
- Carry out quality Assurance testing for updates from Qlik.
- Implement new features/extension that are designed for Qlik into existing products for multi-tenant clients and engages in implementation. Ensuring integrity for the existing products remain intact at all times while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Creation of new analytical reports based on customers’ needs.
Implementation and Customer Support
- Work with customers to understand their business requirements; gather project document requirements and translate them into detailed specifications for BA reports and applications.
- Gather business requirements for Qlik Sense dashboards.
- Create a timeline from implementation to product acceptance.
- Analyze existing systems interface requirements and business processes.
- Provide input on proposing evaluating, and selecting appropriate design alternatives which meet requirements and are consistent with the current standard processes.
- Work with clients to set up file transfer process –ETL.
Customer Relations and Training
- Offers on-site client training and video education sessions to end users on activity based costing products developed in our cloud based application allowing the clients’ to support themselves or resolve their issues.
- Responds to customers in a timely way giving quality support to customer inquiries and resolving high level technical problems and/or triaging highly complex problems for a timely resolution.
Other Duties
- Participates in design of best practices.
- Mentors new staff through shadowing process.
- Assist line manager with recruitment selections.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to:
- Participate in product development and user acceptance testing.
- Delivers formal training sessions end users.
You Will Bring
- Educated to bachelor degree in one of the following areas: Economics, Business, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology or Public Health.
- At least 4+ years’ experience or relevant experience in healthcare or the consulting industry.
- Relevant experience leading multiple projects that include stakeholders at all levels.
- Broad and deep level of knowledge with analytics, data science or web development, business intelligence tool such as Qlik, familiarity with Qlik scripting or SQL and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Proven track record in managing difficult situations; respond promptly to resolve issues to improve service and meet commitment deadlines.
- Proficient level of experience with the following:
- Business Intelligence tools
- Reporting and data visualization
- Data analysis and statistical analysis
- Activity Based Cost Analytics within healthcare
- SQL Server
- SharePoint and cloud based tools (MS Azure)
- Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio
- SW development tool: Microsoft Version Control – GIT/ TFS
