Primary Responsibilities
- Perform primary and secondary research on new terrains
- Identify, scope and size new venture opportunities
- Analyze competitors and draft positioning collateral
- Conduct rigorous market testing by interviewing key industry executives
- Develop pro-formas and financial models
- Pitch new ventures or terrain explorations to senior leaders
- Evaluate and diligence investments and acquisitions
- Collaborate with development and product management teams on internal builds
- Support initial hiring, sales and implementation activities on new ventures

Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience working in corporate strategy consulting, venture capital, private equity, or investment banking
- Experience conducting extensive primary research in a professional environment
- Experience creating a business plan or starting your own business
- Proven solid communication skills to develop and influence relationships
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities, including experience conducting root cause analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare industry experience
- Proven ability to boil down extensive research findings into relevant insights
- Proven ability to drive to consistently meet objectives and maintain focus
- Demonstrated resourcefulness - ability to procure detailed data and information
- Proven service orientation with attention to detail and follow-up

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
