We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (D365 F&O) Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of D365 Finance, experience with Microsoft’s work methodologies and partnerships, and possess the ability to configure and technically maintain the system to meet our organization's strategic goals and technological capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Setup D365 F&O, maintain and configure it according to business requirements.
- Add and maintain roles and users in D365 F&O, ensuring onboarding and offboarding are up to date
- Create custom configurations and scripts when required
- Perform refresh of non-production environments when required
- Implement system upgrades and patches to keep the environment up-to-date and secure.
- Responsible for quarterly patch evaluation, analyzing new or changed functionality, developing test plan, unit testing and with business and other part of IT to schedule and implement changes
- Monitor, manage and resolve D365 F&O alerts
- Ensure high availability and keep business leadership informed if any major incident or risk is detected
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, implementing corrective actions as needed
- Configure the D365 F&O platform to integrate with other systems and applications
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 System Administrator.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
- Technical Expertise: Proven track record of D365 F&O administration and solutions in a business environment. Strong knowledge of D365 F&O architecture, customization, and configuration.
- Familiar with processing and ways of working related to: Supply Chain
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise between digital and IBM technical teams
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Visio
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance are a plus
- Experience with cloud-based solutions, particularly Microsoft Azure.
Skills
- Previous experience in the pharmaceuticals, medical device, or life science industry a plus
- Prior experience working in a lean IT organization where each person must apply diverse skills and take responsibility for multiple processes and systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with project management software (such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet) and methodologies (like Agile, Waterfall) is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development
