Our Warehouse Technician II - Shipping Center plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards of our pharmaceutical products. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include completing inventory replenishments and shipping processes utilizing manual and automated technology. The technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that inventory is correctly stocked and labeled, ensuring the accurate and timely shipment of compounded pharmaceutical products directly to customers. This position involves receiving, preparing, packaging, and managing inventory of pharmaceutical products, utilizing carrier shipping systems, maintaining shipping records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Warehouse Technician II – Shipping Center I collaborates with the customer service team to address shipping-related issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing shipping processes and enhancing operational efficiency. This is a full-time role, working Monday through Friday. This is a set, consistent schedule with minimum overtime requirements and based on site in our Phoenix, AZ location. This is a safety sensitive position that may be subject to random drug testing, in accordance with applicable laws.

What Warehouse Technician II - Shipping Center Does Each Day:
- Follows established inventory re-order levels
- Pulls from inventory items necessary to restock and restocks shelves, ensuring inventory is correctly labeled
- Verifies bill of lading and packing slips including quantity, vendor lot number, and expiration date, transacts, and reconciles activity ensuring timeliness and accuracy following established departmental procedures and best practices
- Checks for and pulls opened, damaged, expired and/or excess inventory and replaces unusable, damaged packaging, labels etc. Handles defective, damaged and/or expired inventory in accordance with established departmental policy
- Participates in taking physical inventories and/or cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory control
- Must maintain technical competencies of Inventory Management system as software is upgraded or new systems are installed to replace existing system
- Provides our key stakeholders with shipment statuses, support inventory transfers and expedites requests
- Unloads trucks of materials and loads recycling material on trucks in a safe, timely and cost- effective manner
- Removes pallets, strapping and packing materials, and moves recycle materials to recycle area
- Receives and puts away material in designated locations to support effective warehouse flow with use of electric pallet jack and forklift
- Completes accurately all required paperwork as well as ERP system transactions using good documentation practices aligned with CGMP and company policies and procedures
- Supports direct distribution of customer orders from pick list drop through to carrier pick-up
- Picks and packages compounded pharmaceutical products for direct shipment to customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Manages inventory of released compounded products and packaging materials to ensure adequate stock levels for efficient order processing
- Utilizes carrier shipping software and systems to create shipping labels, track packages, and schedule pickups for timely delivery to customers
- Inspects outgoing shipments for accuracy, completeness, and proper packaging to prevent damage during transit
- Communicates with customer service and carrier representatives to address any shipping-related issues or concerns and provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborates with the quality assurance team to address any shipping-related quality or compliance issues and implement corrective actions as needed
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize shipping processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency in the direct distribution operations
- Rotates stock in accordance with "FEFO" First-expired First-out procedure
- Handles defective, damaged and/or expired inventory in accordance with established departmental policy
- Must maintain technical competencies of Inventory Management system as software is upgraded or new systems are installed to replace existing system
- Moves material between warehouse locations based on inventory status, picking and production requirements
Our Most Successful Warehouse Technician II - Shipping Center
- Has basic computer and data entry skills
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite
- Has good communication and customer service skills
- Is Knowledgeable of discrete batch manufacturing in pharmaceutical or related field
- Can drive a forklift, use electric, and manual power jacks (Training will be provided)
Minimum Requirements For This Role
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
- Able and willing to walk, stoop, stand, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs. throughout each shift, with or without reasonable accommodation
- 18+ years of age
- 3-4 years of experience in anyone, or combination of the following: Distribution, Warehousing, Shipping, Receiving, Logistics, Material handling, Customer Service, Inventory Control, or other comparable service line
- Requires the use of Supply Chain technology solutions (e.g., bar code scanners, automated supply cabinets, and other expandable wireless products)
- Requires the checking of reports, records, and related data
- Completion of picking, packing, and closing competency assessments
- Controlled substance picking and pre-pack verification steps / understanding of the processes and requirements
- Active involvement in process improvements including engineering studies, temperature mapping studies, warehouse improvement projects
- Training new hires on shipping processes
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; QuVa will not sponsor applicants for work visas
