Pharmacy Technician- Full Time - Community Health Centers Pharmacy-Burlington, VT. $1500 SIGN ON BONUS
Maxor National Pharmacy Services is looking for a compassionate, customer service oriented Pharmacy Technician to work full time in our Maxor managed pharmacy at Community Health Centers Pharmacy in Burlington, VT., a community healthcare center based retail pharmacy. In this integrated model, the Maxor pharmacy team will work closely with providers and clinic staff collaboratively, providing team-based medicine with a strong pharmacy component to provide optimal care for patients. Maxor National Pharmacy Services, headquartered in Amarillo, TX, manages the pharmacy, including personnel.

Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in providing effective, appropriate, and safe pharmacy services.
- Greet customers and take prescription orders
- Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
- Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
- Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
- Answer the phone
- Input customer information into the computer system
Qualifications
- Active pharmacy technician license in the State of VT
- CPR Certificationa n Completion of ACEP-accredited program
- 3 hours of immunization related CE every 2 year
- Current PTCB Certification, or ability to obtain your certification within 6 months (Maxor will assist)
- A minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy experience
- Proven track record of exemplary customer service
- Computer experience mandatory
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care
- Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
