Overview
The Director of EHR Strategy & Informatics leads the execution of key strategic EHR integrated products and other data-driven initiatives within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health informatics, electronic health record systems, and health IT operations. This individual will be responsible for driving innovation, optimizing health information systems, and enhancing clinical workflows to improve patient care and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Lead the planning, development, and execution of strategic EHR integrated products, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement a comprehensive EHR strategy to support the delivery of high-quality patient care and efficient healthcare operations.
EHR System Management: Oversee the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of EHR products across the organization.
Ensure the integration of EHR systems with other health information systems to enhance data interoperability and patient care coordination.
Data-Driven Initiatives: Lead key data-driven initiatives to support clinical decision-making, quality improvement, and operational efficiency.
Utilize data analytics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation within the EHR framework.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, c-suite and administration, to design and implement effective EHR solutions.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for EHR initiatives.
Project Management: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for EHR initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Coordinate with vendors and external partners to evaluate and implement new EHR technologies and solutions.
Training and Support: Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in EHR practices.
Experience in the healthcare or pharmacy services industry.
Familiarity with cloud technologies and machine learning frameworks.
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage big data and analytics tools to provide actionable insights that inform strategic decisions across marketing, sales, and operations.
Performance Measurement: Design and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for tracking and evaluating the effectiveness of commercial strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, marketing, sales, and operations teams to align analytics initiatives with business objectives.
Innovation and Improvement: Continuously seek and implement improvements in analytical methodologies, tools, and practices to enhance business intelligence and operational efficiency.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and professional growth.
Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, or a related field required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in health informatics, electronic health record systems, and health IT operations.
- Proven track record of leading strategic EHR initiatives and data-driven projects within a healthcare setting.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience in predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and big data technologies.
Certifications:
Certified Professional in Health Information Management (CPHIM) or similar certification preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
EPIC Certifications is a plus

- Strong background in using advanced analytical tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Scala.
