The Senior Financial Analyst will review, analyze and track both financial and operational data from multiple sources in order to support achieving strategic company objectives. Working collaboratively with Finance, Accounting, and Business leadership, the Sr Analyst will develop financial models, prepare projections, and perform research and analysis based on business needs.
To be successful as a Senior Financial Analyst, you should be able to perform a variety of financial activities including planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. You should also have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills and be able to present financial information and models in a concise and easily comprehensible manner.
- Maintaining company-wide and divisional forecast
- Prepares budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual analysis on a monthly basis. Prepares monthly reporting of key metrics and KPI's aimed at supporting the company's goals
- Prepare Cost Reports, Operational Analysis and Profitability Models of Business Lines and product lines
- Partner with Sales organization to measure performance of key sales metrics and enhanced forecasting accuracy based on customer pipeline
- Partners with operational leadership to measure implementation and ongoing project costs which can be used to refine project profitability analysis
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and implement best practices that will help provide value-add information and analysis
- Assist in the development and ongoing review of CAPEX and project budgets
- Assist in the development and improvement of operational models
- Builds strong relationships with leadership, customers, and peers. Communicates appropriately and effectively with stakeholders, customers and supervisors, maintaining awareness of any issues, potential delays, and any situation of concern that may affect the productivity of supported programs, processes and systems
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the department
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related analytical field
- Minimum 2 years' experience maintaining a three-statement financial model and cash flow projections. Prefer 4 - 6 years' experience in corporate FP&A or similar role
- Working knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting practices
- Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial audience
Preferred:
- Experience with NetSuite or Oracle financial systems
- Experience within healthcare or SaaS industry
