Responsibilities
Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Manager is an essential member of the recruitment team. This role will develop, drive, and execute on the staffing strategies within our Talent Acquisition organization. This position will lead a team of staffing professionals for our Irvine Manufacturing, Ontario distribution center and CAPS locations. This individual will know how to manage, mentor, and guide a team of recruiters and/or sourcers through the entire recruiting life cycle while also working closely with our leaders to drive recruiting practices and strategy.
Responsibilities: Essential Duties
- Ensures process integrity, manage recruitment process to include sourcing, interviewing, screening, selection, pre-employment testing through onboarding new hires.
- Providing mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team
- Ensuring recruiters and/or sources are managing to milestones and metrics
- Providing innovative, scalable solutions to drive our hiring to meet business objectives
- Creating innovative sourcing strategies and ensuring a high-touch candidate experience
- Identify trends and leverage knowledge, data and competitive intelligence to develop creative, customized sourcing strategies
- Onboarding and training new recruiters
- Compile, analyze and capture insights from data to support business decisions
- Define, design and implement recruiting programs for a variety of positions including understanding and mapping the talent landscape, internal calibration and referrals, and matching those data points with the external talent supply
- Carries own dashboard of requisitions
Expertise: Knowledge & Skills
- At least 8 years of recruiting experience, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industries
- Previous people management experience is a plus
- Behavioral Based interviewing certified
- Ability to create and analyze staffing metrics
- Experience in University Recruitment is preferred
- Icims experience is preferred
- Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field. Uses standard theories, principles and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action.
- Work under minimal supervision. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals. May periodically assist in orienting, training, and/or reviewing the work of peers

Required:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 08-10 years related experience required.
- Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
