This is a dual-purpose role: Trainer/Pharmacy Technician. Responsible for overall coordination of training at the site. This includes training (certification) of SME’s (Subject Matter Expert), management of site training records, SOP’s, all appropriate documentation (i.e., individual sign-off forms, group sign-off forms, filing & archiving of documentation, etc.), onboarding temporary employees and maintenance of the Training Documents. All training documents shall be managed and archived on Z Drive.
Key Responsibilities: Training Coordinator

- Deliver Training Roadmap
- Issue polo’s/pullovers

- Attend Start-Up Meeting
- Introduction to the group
- Manage and monitor the new hire training program for effectiveness. Program should continue to evaluate and measure quality and productivity each 30, 60 and 90 days.
- Monitor productivity standards for all employees and provide reports to each Works closely with management to assess training needs of both new hires and existing employees.
- Maintain training records and discuss training plans with employees and employee’s supervisor.
- Responsible for ensuring that all training sign-offs are complete and uploaded.
- Observes trainee performance and provides instruction, coaching and counseling to improve performance.
- Makes recommended revisions to SOP’s for management approval.
- Conduct station audits, document results, and review with supervisors
- Assist with preparation related to outside audits (i.e., customer, regulatory, etc.)
- Performs other projects as assigned
Key Responsibilities: Pharmacy Technician
1. Medication Dispensing:
- Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing.
- Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders.
- Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity, opening large quantities of bottles, cases and products.
- Ensure the proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers.
- Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area.
2. Inventory Management:
- Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications.
3. Compliance and Regulations:
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
- Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information.
Minimum Qualifications
- Indiana Pharmacy Technician License preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred
- Microsoft office knowledge
- Able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line.
- Able to consistently carry 20 – 30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor.
- Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of McKesson Central Fill processes, procedures, products, programs, and services.
- Possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours – Primarily late shift.
Working Conditions:
Environment (Office, production, warehouse etc.) – Will work in all areas of the business; office and production areas which are temperature controlled.
Physical Requirements (Lifting, standing, etc.) –
- Able to perform order filling requirements if emergency exists.
- Able to stay on feet for long period of time, 5-6 hours daily.
