This position is part time Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 5-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7am - 3pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Employees are required to work 3 days onsite and 2 days from home.
We offer 2-3 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be discussed on your first day of employment. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years old OR older
- 1+ years of managed care experience in Prior Authorization or Claim Review
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, i.e. Excel, Access
- Ability to work part time, 5-hour shift from Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical Terminology
- ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT knowledge
Telecommuting Requirements
- Reside within commutable distance to the office at 19500 W Interstate, San Antonio, TX
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
