Position Summary...
ARL Bio Pharma is the leading pharmaceutical quality and testing provider in the nation and enjoys an unparalleled reputation for boundary-pushing science, quality and integrity. This position is to perform all data entry processes needed or required to facilitate the storage and disposal of pharmaceutical samples. The Coordinator maintains sample integrity to ensure accurate and timely testing and reporting by the appropriate lab. Additionally, the Coordinator may perform other duties requested by the Accessioning Supervisor. Minimal to moderate supervision is required.
This is a safety sensitive position as defined by state and federal laws that will require working with hazardous materials and/or handling medicine. As a "safety sensitive" classification, you will be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening. Possession of a medical marijuana license will not excuse you from the testing process, or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours are approximately Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Essential Functions...
- Sorts and stores samples after the sample has been logged into the LIMS system.
- Maintains all sample storage areas by keeping them organized and free of samples with completed tests.
- Assists analysts and other personnel in locating ‘misplaced’ samples for testing or sample information discrepancies in LIMS.
- Logs samples out after testing is completed and transports them to the appropriate disposal holding location.
- Assists with sample disposal as needed.
- Organizes, scans, and saves documents submitted by client. Often provides client services upon request.
- Maintain positive professional relationships with all departmental personnel and clients when providing information or investigating problematic samples.
- Ability to wear, maintain, and properly use appropriate safety equipment, including, but not limited to eye protection, gloves, and lab coat.
Position Requirements...
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred Education and Experience
- 0-2 years of experience in related field/occupation.
- Data entry experience preferred.
- Thoroughness.
- Communication proficiency.
- Diagnostic information gathering.

- Accurate data entry.
- Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions
- Attention to detail.
- Basic ability to understand Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and other computer systems.
Work Environment...
This job operates in a professional office environment. Attendance at the office is required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines as well as flatbed carts.
Physical Demands...
- This role is both sedentary and mobile. It requires lifting, walking and some filing. This would require the ability to lift boxes, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
- Ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds.
- Ability to have full body movement.
- Must have vision and hearing corrected to meet minimum acceptable norms.
