Position Summary
Responsible for financial planning and analysis function for the US Consumer Products Services activity for assigned business segments. Acts as a business partner with leadership by providing finance functional leadership, supporting strategic and growth activities, advising on operations and financial improvements.
Schedule:
M-F onsite (preferable), open to considering a hybrid work schedule (3 days on-site, 2 days WFH)
Major Roles & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate financial statements for monthly close, including analysis of results and presentation to management.
- Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the Sales and Financial reporting.
- Develop, manage and lead the forecast and annual budget processes.
- Perform regular analyses on costs and productivity and interpret information on variances versus targets.
- Prepare recommendations and work with local management for improvement actions.
- Plan all necessary tasks to ensure that deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during the audits.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook. Excellent Excel skill level required.
- Self-motivated and self-managed with a high degree of honesty, integrity, and work ethic.
- Effective team player with strong drive to engage with business partners/leaders and team members to gain the best understanding of the internal business operations.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Possess an energetic commitment to work and quality.
Experience and Educational Background Required for the Job:
- 4-year technical degree with 5+ years’ experience in a related role.
- Previous experience working for a CPA firm is a plus.
- JD Edwards experience a plus.
Compensation Range: $65,000 - $70,000 annually
