Responsibilities
- Serves as primary point of contact for specific department functions and assists with employee relations issues, questions and concerns.
- Builds and maintains effective working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization.
- Assists with all aspects of recruitment and onboarding efforts; conducts new hire orientation.
- Maintains updates and ensures accuracy of information in HRIS.
- Audits employment related documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum of one year of professional Human Resources experience.
- Proficient computer skills required, including experience with MS Office Suite software and knowledge of HRIS software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities along with strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to meet deadlines, work independently and exercise good judgement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated.
- Must possess ability to maintain confidentiality and establish credibility as a trusted HR professional.
- Must be familiar with employment laws and standard HR concepts, practices and procedures along with proven ability to apply that knowledge.
