Strategic Partner Manager - athenaPayer
We are looking for Strategic Partner Manager to join the Strategic Partner Management Team within our Customer Success division. In this role, the Strategic Partner Manager will be responsible for developing and leveraging relationships with strategic interoperability vendors to promote innovation, improve processes and deliver an improved embedded interop experience with performance benefiting our mutual client networks and patients.
As a Strategic Partner Manager for athenaPayer product, this individual will project manage athenaPayer onboarding according to the SOW, serve as the Technical Project Manager for new product and service capabilities, and improve business processes to support your named athenaPayer accounts. This will require working in partnership with cross-divisional stakeholders to drive outcomes across the life cycle of clients, products, and services. The Strategy Partner Manager will build & foster strategic relationships with your peers up through Senior Leadership at the Partner’s organization and act as a liaison for ongoing technical project management between stakeholders at athena and the Partner to drive efficiencies and resolve issues in order to create the best embedded interop experience for our customers. This individual will act as a driver who is self-sufficient in leveraging all resources and finds joy in navigating the ambiguities and challenges of nascent services.
The Team: The Strategic Partner Management Team is responsible for developing and leveraging relationships with strategic interoperability vendors to promote innovation, improve processes and deliver an improved embedded interop experience with performance benefiting our mutual client networks and patients. We specialize in taking product features built with 3rd parties and creating an interop experience to ensure high-quality and sustainable healthcare for all.
Job Responsibilities
Project manage individual payer onboarding per terms of their SOW, then remain in a Technical Project Manager capacity for ongoing feature development, incremental enhancements
Drive network enablement, adoption, and performance of athenaPayer service components, providing tip sheets, knowledge articles, trainings and more to drive the best customer experience
Work collaboratively with CSM who will manage the Payer relationship while you continue to manage any projects that require R&D and/or payload enhancements thru our APIs
Participate in bi-annual governance meetings as requested by CSM
Lead initiatives to improve how the effectiveness of product, process, & service improvement projects are measured, monitored, and reported on in support of the athenaPayer Service overall
Partner across stakeholders to identify product/process improvement opportunities through analysis and reporting; translating findings into recommendations and improvement projects that reduce cost, improve efficiency, quality and drive sustainable customer value
Participate in the development of documentation on standard operating procedures
Typical Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus
2+ years of relevant work experience in technical project management, relationship management role in HCIT environment
2-4 years working with stakeholders in a business environment, working across cross-functional groups
Proven success managing successful complex, business critical programs.
Demonstrated success influencing stakeholders to drive change internal and at the Partner organization and with internal stakeholders (C-Suite and Director-level decision makers)
Demonstrated success translating the overall objectives of the organization into actionable plans and has demonstrated an ability to overcome obstacles to execute successfully
Demonstrated passion for understanding ambiguous, complex problems and driving high-quality and systemic solutions.
Strong communication & organization skills
Agile experience preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
