Our Engineering team is looking for a new talent, starting at the earliest possible time as Senior Manager Engineering Services (m/f/d) in Hosingen, Luxembourg.
How you’ll add value
We are looking for an Senior Manager Engineering Services (m/f/d), who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of facility operations, including the manufacturing plant, warehouse, and office spaces.
The role involves driving production efficiency, maintaining critical infrastructure, optimizing and redesigning molds and tools, as well as setting up new production lines to ensure continuous improvement.
The Senior Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team, driving key projects related to preventive maintenance, production throughput, and new facility enhancements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, leadership experience, and the ability to manage complex projects while optimizing performance and maintaining a safe work environment.
What you’ll do
Facility & Maintenance Management:
- Lead and oversee the maintenance of the entire facility, including the manufacturing plant, warehouse, and office spaces, ensuring continuous operational readiness.
- Manage preventive maintenance programs for machinery, molds, tools, and infrastructure to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate the repair and servicing of all equipment and utilities to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Production Optimization & New Line Setup:
- Collaborate with production teams to improve production throughput and reduce bottlenecks, focusing on process optimization and efficient resource utilization.
- Drive the redesign and improvement of molds, tools, and other production equipment
- Manage the planning, installation, and commissioning of new production lines, working closely with internal stakeholders and vendors.
Project & Process Improvement:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee capital expenditure projects related to facility upgrades and process innovations.
- Coordinate the effective working of technical services in terms of investments and modifications while respecting costs, deadlines and conformities
People Management & Leadership:
- Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, safety, quality assurance, and supply chain to align operational goals.
Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure all facilities, equipment, and processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors, negotiating service agreements and managing external partnerships.
- Managing Purchasing of indirect material with the related vendors.
What you’ll bring
- Successfully completed Bachelor´s degree in engineering (electricity, electronics or mechanics)
- 3 years of experience, ideally in a similar relating to medical devices.
- Strong knowledge in mechanical and electrical engineering production processes.
- Work experience in an international and multicultural environment.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and to collaborate with business partners across multiple functions.
- Planning and organization skills.
- Strong communication skills – written, verbal and presentation
- Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.
- Attention to detail.
- Commercially aware.
- User experience Mircosoft suite.
- Languages: English is mandatory any other language will be appreciated.
