Position Summary
This job within the Quality Assurance department requires the individual to be responsible for extracting quality data and creating queries for data analysis, preparing various charts and reports on a routine and ad hoc basis, and developing understandable charts, reports, and presentations of data for senior management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Utilize data visualization skills to clearly explain complex data to a non-technical audience
- Collaborate with internal departments who have collected data or have data needs
- Prepare various reports required by internal customers on a routine and ad hoc basis
- Create monthly quality reports
- Develop understandable report presentations of quality data for senior management
- Develop prototype reporting/analysis templates (static and interactive)
- Conduct basic analysis of quality data, and develop continuous quality improvement documents and tools
- Become an expert contributor in ongoing data management projects to improve and integrate internal database systems .
- Create and/or improve reports, templates, and tools to quantify specific performance outcomes
- Work on special projects as they arise
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- High-level problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including data manipulation, data aggregation, formulas, and pivot tables of large datasets
- Excellent documentation skills
- Able to prioritize and work unsupervised
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and respond quickly to changing priorities
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
- Experience working in an FDA regulated industry is a plus
- Experience in utilizing data visualization skills to clearly explain complex data to a non-technical audience

- Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time
Physical Requirements And Work Environment
- This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
