We are seeking a talented and motivated College Summer Intern for our Berkeley Heights, New Jersey office. As an Intern you will establish and maintain meaningful projects in a working environment that will enhance your marketability as well as provide value to the organization through continued networking. You will actively contribute to the discovery, development and delivery of our products to our patients and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Observe and document current state processes executed by Hikma Commercial teams, such as Trade Operations, Contracts, Business Insights, Solutions & Analytics, and Customer Master Data
- Identify potential areas of opportunity within documented processes, including opportunities to streamline work, automate/semi-automate steps and utilize new tools and approaches.
- Design tools and dashboards to enhance analytic capabilities. Options may include the use of Microsoft Azure, PowerBI, Alteryx, Excel, etc. This role has the opportunity to learn about these tools, and make suggestions on which tools are best suited to help optimize work.
- Present recommendations in the form of PowerPoint presentations, Visio diagrams, and/or excel spreadsheets.
- Assist with implementing recommendations, including building out tools, training and deploying tools to team members and monitoring progress post-deployment.
- Upon conclusion of the internship, present approach, and results of project to the team and business partners
- Perform additional duties, as assigned, including but not limited to: data entry and data analysis
Qualifications:
- Must be an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Student in good academic standing.
- Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.
- Passion for data analytics, process improvement and project management
- Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly motivated and inquisitive with a strong desire to learn.
- Organization skills to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to details.
- Planning and Organizational skills.
- Proficient usage of Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction, no sponsorship offered at this time.
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background.
- Must be willing to take a drug test.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
