This role is responsible for executing and sourcing manufacturing and logistics strategies to meet customer needs.

What You Will Do
- Manage all non-inventoried plant purchases
- Manage contractor and CAR purchase orders through SAP and MyBuy
- Communicate sales order status and ship dates to internal customers
- Create Production job packets with the applicable documents; close Production Orders in SAP
- Manage cycle counting activities
- Track and process raw material RMAs
- Identify savings opportunities and track associated projects
- Active member of TPM program
- General filing and data input, perform first level data analysis
- Other duties as assigned
Position Details
- Plant location: Glenwood, IL
- Work week and shift: 1st shift Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
- Compensation: $26.00/hour
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 3 years of previous administrative work experience
- Previous experience in purchasing, inventory control or related function
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunity
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business or related field
- SAP experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and a team player
