How will you make an impact?
Our interns are matched to projects based on their abilities and current business needs. All projects will have significant strategic and/or operating importance to the business to which they are assigned.
Summer projects for the intern may include the following responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively across the Enterprise Data functions: engineering, modelling, AI and analytics
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing data to ensure it is ready for analysis and help integrate data from various sources, ensuring a unified dataset
- Employ NLP techniques to analyze and extract meaningful information from text data, and by using machine learning algorithms, help develop chatbots that can understand and respond to user queries about the data, including training the models to improve their accuracy and relevance.
- Contribute to crafting intuitive user interfaces that make it easier for users to interact with data through chat. This includes integrating chat functionalities within existing dashboards or platforms, set up mechanisms to collect user feedback, to continuously improve the chatbot’s performance.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, SQL
Knowledge of working with Data Visualization tools (e.g. Spotfire) and Machine Learning.
Start Date: This internship is set to begin on either May 12th or June 16th, 2025 for a duration of 10-12 weeks – dependent upon student availability per academic calendars.
Compensation & Relocation: Our undergraduate Information Technology internships offer an hourly rate between $21.50 - $28.75 dependent upon the location you are supporting (aligned to respective cost-of-living guidelines). Additionally, a relocation stipend is offered in the amount of $5,000 if necessary. Student must be located 50+ miles away from the physical location of the internship to be eligible for the relocation stipend.
How will you get here:
- Undergraduate student completing an Information Technology-related degree between December 2025 and June 2026. Such as data science, statistics, or computer science.
- 0 years of work experience required; previous related internships preferred.
- Consistent record of results demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.
- Energized through championing change, driven in getting results, and savvy in navigating ambiguity.
- Good interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
