Discover Impactful Work: The CIS Learning & Development Coordinator will play a pivotal role in designing, developing and implementing strategic security and technology training initiatives across the company. This individual will own the full lifecycle of training, including curriculum development, platform management and promotional activities. The role requires close partnership with CIS programs to create tailored training modules addressing specific security and technology topics to enhance colleague capabilities in these critical areas.
The ideal candidate is passionate about learning, experienced in instructional design and proficient in leveraging technology platforms for scalable training delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of comprehensive training programs that support security, technology and compliance needs. Ensure content is relevant, up-to-date and aligned with CIS objectives.
- Own and manage all training platforms (LMS, e-learning, etc.), ensuring accessibility, functionality and a seamless learning experience for all colleagues. Monitor and report on training engagement and completion rates.
- Partner with various CIS programs to design and implement custom learning solutions and modules for specific security and technology topics, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and strategic goals.
- Drive awareness and promotion of CIS-specific training programs to ensure colleagues are aware of new learning opportunities and understand the importance of participation.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across CIS and other departments to ensure training materials are accurate, engaging, and meet organizational requirements.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys and feedback mechanisms, using data to continuously improve content, delivery methods and colleague engagement.
- Ensure all security and technology training initiatives comply with internal policies and industry standards. Maintain detailed records of training completion and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning and Development, Education or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in learning and development, curriculum design or training coordination, preferably within technology or security domains.
- Strong proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
- Experience in developing e-learning modules using tools like Articulate, Adobe Captivate or similar.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with security and technology training content is a plus.

- Proficiency in developing learning programs that meet organizational goals and are engaging for learners.
- Understanding of technology and security-related topics to effectively translate complex concepts into learner-friendly training modules.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with training needs and business objectives.
- Capable of evaluating training data, identifying trends and making informed recommendations for improving training content and delivery.

Compensation And Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $113,500.00–$170,200.00.
