Key Responsibilities
- Provide project-based technical leadership within the Engineering team
- Interpret business challenges and recommend best practices to improve software programs and/or internal WK applications
- Apply specialized expertise and advanced technical knowledge of programming languages, operating systems and software to perform complex technical assignments
- Analyze requirements, test and integrate application components and ensure that system improvements are done accurately with highest quality
- Lead others in solving complex technical problems, using sophisticated analytical thought to identify innovative solutions
- Act as an advisor on advanced and broad ranging projects
Application Observability: Establish and maintain observability practices to monitor application performance, availability, and reliability. Work with development teams to instrument applications, ensuring they provide necessary telemetry data.
Monitoring and Event Aggregation: Knowledge of systems that aggregate events and logs from multiple sources, providing a centralized view for analysis and troubleshooting. Create and maintain event correlation rules to reduce noise and highlight significant incidents.
Datadog Expertise: Configure, deploy, and manage Datadog for monitoring infrastructure, applications, and services. Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and monitors to provide visibility into system performance and reliability.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 5+ years’ experience in Technology or equivalent relevant experience
- Specialized depth of expertise related to IT/Engineering
- Wide range of experiences and advanced technical acumen serving as an advisor to management
- Experience working as a senior member or team lead on large, complex projects
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify innovative solutions
- Ability to drive projects forward while providing guidance to more junior members of the team
- Strong understanding of business processes and how to leverage standard system capabilities to support them
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to maintain positive working relationships

Compensation:
Target salary range CA, CT, CO, HI, NY, WA: $141,000-$197,550
